Several social movements have shown that it is time for real change. The founders, three social entrepreneurs, each with their own expertise, have joined forces to turn the tide and promote social justice. Together with our diverse changemakers, we work from an intersectional approach.

Our cultural experiences, training programmes, and tailor-made events offer you knowledge, insights and skills to move beyond inclusion.

Andjenie Cheng A June

I am a professional hands-on D&I consultant with a background in the legal world. I work with a lot of empathy and integrity on sensitive topics within the D&I spectrum. I come with extensive business experience of 13+ years and knowledge of professional service providers and their challenges. I help them transition to more inclusiveness and connectedness.

Patrick English

Patrick Engels is a social entrepreneur and designer with a background in trend research and concept development. He is also an experienced expert and educator on LGBTIQA+ and uses his knowledge and expertise to promote empowerment.

Melissa Verboeket-Acton

My name is Melissa Verboeket-Acton and I am a professional Business Event Organizer who started Maction Business Events 20 years ago. I am a very enthusiastic and warm personality who stands for something. Social issues are close to my heart and that is why I founded Maction Social Inspirators.

My connection

Now we go one step further. We put the deed to the word. In February 2021 I started a project with a small team: A masterclass on putting DEI management into practice. This forms the basis for Heritage & Belonging. Together with my partners in business Patrick and Andjenie, we started the platform and wanted to share the great Changemakers, Amplifiers and several trendsetters of the DE&I world with you!

We will explore our past, heritage & sense of belonging, by learning from the past, examining the present and thereby shaping our future!

Our offer consists of Cultural Experiences, Transformation Programs, and events like Webinars, seminars, and summits, which provide you with knowledge, tools and skills to work on diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and beyond.
